Hi Pups,
We have just had our Dyson in for a service, and we didn't realise how much we have come to depend on it until we didn't have it! Charlie has really taken "Molt" to a new level this year on the account of his new Bionic-ness. The first thing we noticed within days of his pacemaker implant was that his fur REALLY started to recover.
So we got to talking about it, and Brooke said that she would love to work for Dyson because its a product she is truly passionate about. Now, this is something we have heard from a lot of DWB pups. Dogs hate em, but their humans love em.
So lets talk about Vacuum's!
What have you got? What do you think?

My Mom has a Hoover...I HATE the thing...I don't think my Mom is very fond of it either...
She says they cost too much & don't last long enough...I think she would love a Dyson, but I wish she didn't have one at all...

Mom and I have a Dyson and three different Orecks - an upright, a cannister and a little one that Mom said is MINE! How cool is THAT!? We like all of them for different things.
Play bows,
Zim

We have a Dyson Animal, dogs hate it but I have a long, deep love affair going on with it. _________________ The Brat Pack (& Maryann)

| We've wondered about the Dysons so we're glad to see this thread... we don't have one, but for right now we don't need one... when we move (which will be soon) we will though! Right now we have a home vac system (we're really not fancy, it just came with the house)... |

My mom has a Hoover! My daddy hates that darn thing even though he bought it. Mom and I wanted the Dyson. We have to get a Hoover once a year and daddy doesn't buy the cheap one either!!! Hmmm do you think he will catch on???
We just have to much fur in our house!

| Speaking as Turbo, I have to say that Dysons are stupid! But my Human really likes that stupid thing. She has had other stupid vacuums and the Dyson picks up our fluff very well. When our stupid Dyson was in the Dyson hospital, she brought home a commercial vac. It worked well, but it was too heavy. And too loud! |

We have a Bissell.
We also only have carpet in two rooms (living room and bedroom) and hardwood floor or tile in the rest, so we don't vaccuum quite as much. We use one of those rubber brooms for sweeping up pet hair in the other rooms which works very well. |

Well our hooman has 2 Dysons, just in case one goes wrong! Is that mad or what!! She also has an Oreck!
They are used constantly, and we have very obligingly added an imressive teeth design to each of them
WE really cannot understand the need for all these hoovers, we don't even moult!!!!

I don't have experience of clearing up my hair or anyone elses, it doesn't bother me, but I watch my Mum clean our place with a broom on the wood and an old Dyson on the rug and the upstairs area of the house, she said she's had it for years. She says it's sucked up much doggie tumbleweed in years gone past.

Mom bought that stupid Dyson (we agree with Tubby) and she loves it. We think it is too loud and takes our hard earned furs away. We know Mom loves the Dyson but not as much as she loves us. We came to the country to live with her and the Dyson is still at the city house. She says it will move here and be with us once our house is built (nothing happening on THAT yet). Maybe she won't use it as much in the new house because she is getting stained concrete (nicer than it sounds) for the floors. She will have a lot less carpet to vacuum! _________________ Roxie, Sammy & Andy (The Dachsies)

I just bought the Sears Kenmore Progressive. I made my choice based on Consumer's Reports review. Even at full price its a lot cheaper than the Dyson and it was on sale today at $70 off (Sears also carries Dyson so you can compare).
So I've only had it one day, but I was impressed. I'll post the photographic results on Mango's blog latter. I just cleaned up with my old Kenmore yesterday and the new one pulled tons of stuff out of the carpet. It was easy to empty. I really like the dirt indicators (didn't think I would). Just keep going until the light turns green.
Mango Momma
P.S. It comes with HW floor and crevice tools (contrary to what idiot sales clerk told me). But if you accidentally buy those attachments (like I did) they are compatable with existing Kenmores (thank goodness because two trips to the mall in one day is more than I can take). _________________ http://mangosgreatadventures.blogspot.com/ |
